Operations:
We have built up substantial capacities over the period of time to service our customers. S. D. Exports today manufacture nearly 3, 000 sq. yds. of area rugs per month and our production system are flexible enough to add on another 1, 000 sq. yds. per month.
Design Creating:
Our design requirement is served by qualified designers, using CAD system on dedicated computers to bring out the latest, modern and most intricate designs. Using the finest wool fibers combined with exciting combination of hand and machine tufting, carving and sculpting.
Dyeing
Production at S. D. E. is supported by dedicated dyeing unit. The unit is having dedicated capacity of dyeing up to 2, 000 plus kgs of wool a day, Using fast-color chrome-dyes, we add moth proofing chemicals at the dyeing stage only making all carpets resistance to attack by moths. The dyeing house is also equipped with dryers for instant drying of the dyed yarns, which allows us to cut the production time and meet the delivery.
Washed Carpets
Most of the carpets being offered by the industry are unwashed carpets. We excel because more than 70% of our production is of washed carpets. We have an in-house washing facility consisting of state of the art washing equipments and qualified supervisors to achieve a consistent quality. Our washed carpets have much better finish in term of softness and luster of the carpet pile than any other manufacturer.
Finishing:
In-house finishing facility equipped with sophisticated machines and experienced worker is an extra edge to S. D. E. production team.
