Our company, a former state owned Romanian company, was privatized in June 1998 and became an American Romanian joint venture. Since its privatization, the company changed into a well-organized client-oriented company determined to expand its domestic and international markets.
The company operates in a 116, 208 sq m. Facility near the Danube river, in South-West Romania and manufactures a very wide range of products made of carbon steel, alloyed steel, stainless steel, aluminum and other non ferrous metals, all complying with ISO 9002 and to customer particular specifications.

FORSEV is a manufacturing company with an old tradition in free forging and forging in dies.
Currently, FORSEV has 130 employees and a turnover of 10 mil. USD in 2008.

FORSEV is divided in 2 Sections: FORGING SECTION and MACHINING SECTION.
The Forging Department is characterized through power and performance; there are manufactured any kind of forging parts or die forging from all qualities of steel or aluminium , at any standards or usual.
Forging Department. The production equipment is as follows: 2.5tf, 10tf, 25tf, 40tf Die Hammers; 0,4t, 2t, 3t, 5t Free Forging Hammers; 250tf, 1000tf Power Press; 1600tf Hydraulic Press; Heating Furnaces for each Forging equipment; Furnaces for Primary and Secondary Heat Treatment with water and oil quenching.

Machining Department. In the Machining Department there are an important number of large capacity machines arranged by product line. This manufacturing unit provides machining for a wide variety of parts in all shapes and sizes, both for external and internal needs.
The production equipment of this division is as follows: Vertical Lathes, Turning Lathes, Milling and Planning Machines, Radial Drilling Machines, Acetylene Cutting Machines, Copying Machines, Welding Equipment.

FORSEV owns Quality Control Laboratories.
As a guarantee of the quality of its products, FORSEV effects a large range of testing in its laboratories: chemical analysis, non-destructive testing (mechanical testing, hardness testing, ultrasonic testing, magnaflux method, penetrating liquids).
Beginning with the raw material acceptance up to the manufacturing and the dispatch of the finished products, exigent testing methods are applied according to FORSEV's Quality Book.
FORSEV owns a Quality Assurance System implemented and certified according to ISO 9001 Standards by the international certification body GERMANISCHER LLOYD.
We also have the products certification for engineering parts with LLOYD's, BUREAU VERITAS, and with GERMANISCHER LLOYD.
