High quality, organic baby clothes, handknitted using 100% organic New Zealand merino wool.



My product range includes: -



Newborn:

Jacket, beanie, bootees, handknitted using natural cream organic wool, with paua shell trim.



6-12 months:

Poncho, hat, bootees, handknitted using soft grey organic wool, with cream wool trim.



Jersey, hat, bootees, handknitted using warm brown organic wool, with wooden toggles.



Organic wool is undyed and untreated. Pure, soft and natural.



COMPANY BACKGROUND: -



I started my business in 2004 when I was expecting my 4th baby. I wanted to buy some high quality organic baby clothing, and when I was unable to find what I wanted, I decided to make my own. I now want to share my products with other mothers who are looking for pure, natural garments for their babies. Pure organic wool is very warm and soft for new babies, and is ideal for babies who are sensitive to synthetic materials.



I have a dedicated team of experienced handknitters who create each garment. The finished product is then carefully packaged, or attractively gift boxed in recycled paper.



I hope to trade with other ethical companies who share my organic philosophy, by using materials that don't harm the planet.



HISTORY: -



Since I started making and selling my organic baby clothes in June 2004, demand has continued to grow. People appreciate the uniqueness of my products, and their wide appeal. Currently my garments are sold in New Zealand in exclusive babywear shops, gift shops and shops specialising in natural and organic products.



ACHIEVEMENT: -



I have achieved good market share in a short time, in this boutique industry. My products have been featured in local newspapers. I have received expressions of interest from several overseas buyers.
