COMPANY PROFILE

Newstream Resources Limited is a, dynamic and wholly owned Nigerian Oil Marketing & Trading Company.

The company was registered with the CAC in Nigeria to engage in the business of Oil trading & distribution, foreign procurements and supplies, importation of refined petroleum products, lubricants and chemicals and also offshore Oil services, Supplies and Engineering.

The company have currently engaged a crop of young but dedicated and experienced staff who are adequately trained and motivated for the overall success of the organization.

In commencing to make a mark in the local Oil sector, we have started the local distribution of petroleum products to a growing list of clients to whom we usually deliver varieties of petroleum products within a short notice.

The operations of the company is basically divided into 2 major departments:

1. The Supply & Trading department 2. The Energy department.

The Supply and Trading department handles all activities in the downstream sector of the Oil industry which includes: Importation of petroleum products and marketing and retailing of petroleum products


This department also handles new business prospects or opportunities such as LPG sales distribution and exportation. Development of new avenues to break into the already saturated Oil market.

This department is the heart of the company and it is manned by highly competent, young and dynamic personnel headed by the chief operating officer of the company.

This department sources for business, liaise with other players in the industry and seek new ways and ideas of business at all times.

As a means of achieving our goal of becoming one of the major players in the downstream sector of the petroleum industry, the company is presently constructing a storage facility at the Ikorodu port which will be capable of storing about 15,000 MT of refined petroleum products.

We have also acquired a 4,500 MT Vessel for strategic offshore storage and deliveries.

Our loading gantry which is presently under construction will help to ensure prompt deliveries of products. We presently have 5 ultramodern state-of-the-art trucks for inland deliveries and plans are on to acquire 20 more trucks before the end of the year 2004.

Before the end of the year, the company intends to build 20 ultramodern filling stations in Lagos and another 10 in other states of the country.

We also have plans to have a storage facility at F.O.T Onne for up country deliveries before the end of the year.

The company is also engaged in high level negotiations with a major Oil marketing company as a strategic partner for products importation for the company. This negotiation will hopefully be concluded by October.
