Mongol Shevro Joint Stock Company

This is one of the first tanneries in Mongolia being set up as the "Tannery workshop" in 1934. In 1967 the "Tannery workshop" was renovated into "Shevro" factory with capacity to process 1.2 million sheep and goatskins per year.

Up until 1992 it was a state enterprise with full realization of the designed capacity, producing more than 10 kinds of products.

The factory was privatized in 1992 into "MongolShevro" joint stock Company.

The tannery facilities are housed in 4-floor large building with floor area of 14280 square meters.

The company has more than 100 machinery installed in 1967, 30 % of which renovated in 2002-2007.

So the company has over 100 employees and has a many years experience and perennial length of service of work in leather production.

From 2000 years "Mongol Shevro" Company has concluded contracts and exported sheep ,goat cow hide wet blue to China, Korea, Spain and Italy.

The company's main products are sheep, goat and cow hide wet blue, crust,finished leather. Leathers as natural are made in plenty of designs and colors for various purposes: leather lining, shoe uppers, garments and accessories. Capacity of daily production is now 4000 pieces sheep and goat wet blue, 1000 pieces cow hides wet blue.

The raw materials selected seriously by "Mongol Shevro" technicians come from our raw material market. The high quality leather is particularly tanned by the advanced techniques with qualified chemicals as well as tanning machines.

"Mongol Shevro" Company using chemicals for leather those are made in Germany, Italy. Modern technologies, the use of good chemicals and a well trained labor force are in place to make high quality products.
