INTRODUCTION

LABAU was established in March 2000. A new comer into AIDC (Auto Identification Data Capture) market, Labau is drawing the attention of global market. Labau Technology uses innovative designs through the integration of Auto-ID, Optic-electronic, computer, and precise Mechanism technology. Labau uses high degree of difficulty product, hi tech, and high profit value-added POS hardware. We produce high performance products using modular design for easy assembly and maintenance. PRODUCTS

Labau Technology is a manufacturer who has focused on Auto ID and POS systems for years. It is the first Taiwanese manufacturer who developed its own laser barcode-scanning module with the unique design. Its two new models of laser scanners are LS300 and LP150.

LS300 is a gun-type hand-held laser scanner with a stylish design. In addition to user-friendly operation, the styling is impressive. It is equipped with a hands-free stand, which facilitates automatics and continuous reading. Moreover, LS300 is capable of scanning a long-range depth of flied to 380mm. Its minimum scan resolution is 4 mils.

Another of Labaus hand-held laser-barcode scanner is model LP150. It is shaped like a CCD; however, this model contains laser technology. The CCD users can easily adopt this new laser scanner. LP150 can scan with the depth of flied more than 200 mm with the minimum resolution of 4 mils. Price is the key differentiator of this product when compared to the competition. Labaus laser scanner makes a user-friendly environment in the laser technology within barcode scanning industry.

Continuous product development is a core focus for Labau; besides the barcode scanning system, we are also developing full-line POS equipments. In the third quarter, Labau launched a new model of TM200, which is an ultra-fast receipt printer. In addition with LM130, a magnetic stripe reader, was introduced to the global market. The TM200 was exhibited at Las Vegas Comdex Fall 2003 and received with overwhelming enthusiasm. We believe our products have a great potential in the global market.
