DPI Simba Limited is today the market leader in the manufacture and supply of plastic piping systems in Tanzania, specializing in supply of uPVC and HDPE pipes and fittings. DPi Simba Limited is a Joint Venture company, formed by Simba Plastics Company Limited, Tanzania and DPi Plastics Pty Ltd., South Africa. Simba Plastics Co. Ltd., a part of the Sumaria Group of Companies, has for many years been an industry leader in Tanzania and East Africa in engineering plastics and piping. DPi Plastics Pty Ltd., on the other hand, has been a leader in the supply and manufacture of plastic piping systems in South Africa and manufacturing facility in many other sub-Saharan African countries.

DPi Simba Limited is committed to finding solutions, in partnership with its customers, for optimizing the utilization of the scarce water resources and efficient disposal of sewerage and waste water. The company, with its product range ranging from uPVC pipes upto 315mm diameter and HDPE pipes upto 250mm diameter, has been and integral part of the Tanzanian pipe infrastructure network, wherein large lengths of pipelines have been supplied, installed, commissioned and are now successfully in operation for a number of years.

DPi Simba Limiteds commitment to reliability, durability and quality consciousness is adequately reflected by the fact that we are today the only plastic pipe manufacturer in Tanzania whose products are certified by the Tanzanian Bureau of Standards (TBS). This commitment is further strengthened by the fact that DPi Simba was the first Tanzanian pipe manufacturer to get an ISO 9001 accreditation. This was further recognized by the Tanzanian Industry when DSL was declared the winner of the prestigious President Award for the best Manufacturer of the Year 2005 and then was again given the award for the year 2006 for the non-metallic segment in the Medium Scale. The companys achievements were also recognized by the share holders and the company won the award for the best performing company within the DPI Group of Companies for the year 2005-2006, and also the Chairmans Trophy for the best performing company within the Sumaria Group of Companies for the year 2006.

Today DPI Simba aims at spreading its wings across the globe. We have regularly supplied our products to Angola, Zambia, Rwanda, Burundi and Kenya to name a few countries.
