The small business distribution center (sbdc) was created by small business corporation (sbc) , non profit korean government agency, in 1995 to implement government policies for the promotion of small and medium sized businesses. Sbdc is dedicated to developing small and medium sized businesses so that they become dynamic economic entities both domestically and internationally.

Sbdc provides a wide range of businesses to help korean small and medium sized enterprises develop their businesses. Sbdc runs both on-line and off-line businesses, such as a department store, internet shopping mall, t-commerce, home shopping, and so on. In addition, sbdc also implements many government policies to support small and medium sized enterprises financially or non-financially. To take a specific example, sbdc organizes two different annual international fairs to help small and medium sized enterprises promote their own products, and give them more chances to have a business meeting with domestic and international buyers.
