Wescom

1.1 Introduction

Wescom is a limited Company that was formed in 2006. Relying on the skills of its founders in the Information, Communication and Technology field, Wescom has been working with various partners in the ICT industry to deliver data and tele-communications products and services in Kenya.

The company focuses its efforts in distributing communications equipment including structured cables wireless devices, network devices, computer hardware, and computer software and computer parts and accessories et.c.

The company also provides structured cabling for SMES, Government institutions and corporate organizations. These include LAN and WAN installations, setup and support.


1.2 Mission

With the growth in the information and communications technology industry in Kenya, Wescom Limited has set its goals as

a) Be the preferred value-add distributors for consumer and enterprise users of ICT
b) Provide new methods of trading goods using e-commerce and m-commerce
c) Provide new methods of providing services using e-commerce taking advantage of increasing adoption of information technology in many business sectors including the government.


1.3 Short Term Objectives

Our Short term objectives are:

a) To secure the branded products distributorship for Information Communications and Technology which we market well along with e-commerce and m-commerce.
b) To differentiate ourselves from our competitors by providing after sales service to our customers and having the range of accessories for the products traded by the company.
c) To boost our sales by taking out promotional offers

1.4 Long term Objectives.

Build a regional organization through out East and Central Africa that will provide new methods of doing business using ICT especially hedged on e-commerce and m-commerce.
