Food freeze drying technology is widely used in export oriented products such as seasonal vegetables (Onion, Egg Plant, Sweet Corn, Potato etc. ) , perishable fruits (Banana, Strawberry, Guava etc. ) , sea foods (Prawns, Shrimps, chicken and Meat Balls etc. ) , herbals (Aloe Vera, Mint, Awla, Wheat Grass, Sena Leaves, Arjun Chal, Shatavari, Musli etc. ) , spices (Green pepper, Bell pepper, Turmeric, Curry, Green Chilli, Red chilli, Cloves, Cumin, Cardamom, Ginger etc) and instant foods. Freeze-Drying process is most suited for value added products or products with more volatile contents. Spices and herbals are best suited for freeze-drying. Freeze-dried material properly packed in aluminium foil has a shelf life of not less than 1 year.
We are a team of technocrats having hands on experience on almost all existing models and makes of freeze-dryers available in India, be it a food or pharmaceutical freeze-dryer. Apart from our commercial plant of procressing capacity 1 tonne of raw material input per day, we also offers pilot plants of 5kg and pilot cum commercial plant of 20kgs. and 50kgs. raw material processing capacity per batch of 8 hrs. for research and exploring market potential of freeze-dried products in domestic and international market. As such 60 KG to 150 KG capacity plants are best suited for herbs and spices freeze-drying.
We have successfully supplied our 1 tonne FFD to M / s Saraf Foods Ltd. at Baroda and a 60 KG plant to M / s GITS Foods Pvt ltd. at Pune and 150 KG plant to POABS Exports at Nellyampathy, Palghat, to name a few. We have also exported one 20 KG condenser capacity refurbished pharmaceutical freeze-dryer to Bangaladesh.
We have our own pilot plant with us for sample generation purpose. We also assist in marketing of freeze-dried products in international market.
