The success story of ALBA M.S. d.o.o. begins in 2000 when a family business with five employees was founded in Zagreb.Until 2005 Alba was mainly focused on import, wholesale and distribution of raw coffee. In 2006 Alba begins with the production of cappuccino and drinks based on instant coffee as a brand name for Croatian retail-chains.Headquarters, production site, and warehouse were moved from Zagreb in 2007. to the industry-area 20 kilometres from Zagreb, in a building size of 1600 square meters with total area of 10000 square meters.

The production, as well as the whole enterprise, complies with HACCP and ISO 9001:2008 standards, which were implemented in 8/2007 and certified by Det Norske Veritas. This is the guarantee that Alba's products and services meet the highest demands for health, safety and quality. At the end of 2007 Alba started the production of its own brand of roasted coffee Caffeteria Brasil. In June 2009 for the excellent quality of the product Caffeteria Brasil, Alba was awarded with Croatian Quality sign by the Croatian Chamber of Economy (CCE). Today, Alba employs a young team of 30 people with an average age of 32 years. Part of our business is still the wholesale and distribution of raw coffee, but the main line is production of own Caffeteria brand, as well as production of coffee and products based on coffee as a brand for retail-chains.
