Getex

Agricultural holding "Getex" was founded in 2002 by a group of enterprises of different patterns of ownership to organize production and realization of a wide variety of agricultural products, cereals for the most part. The holding is based on the firm with the same name, which was founded in Moscow in 1996 by Vladimir Sergeevitch Glinjanov, who is the founder of the whole holding as well. "Getex" employs about 2.000 staff members overall and affiliates 16 farms with 140.000 ha of sowing area. Affiliating the farms enables a centralized management. At present time, the farms are located in 9 regions of the Volgograd region, Russia. Besides that, holding operates several elevators located on the Volga river and has its own terminals, capable of loading the vessels with the capacity of up to 5000 tons. Convenient geographical location allows to ship agricultural products directly to a vast number of countries through the Caspian and Black seas. Shipments to India or Bangladesh are first carried by 2.000-3.000 t river-vessels to port Kerch, Ukraine with further transshipment onto 10.000 -15.000 t vessels.
