GAKUYA Co., Ltd., was established with headquarter in Gyoda City, Saitama Prefecture in Japan in 1922, manufacturing and wholesaling the Japanese traditional tabi, and is famous as the traditional tabi manufacturer.GAKUYA is continuing to be strict about domestic manufacturing, and the factory in Asahikawa city, Hokkaido Prefecture is the current manufacturing base of the tabi.

We are focusing on the manufacturing of the tabi, which is worn indoors with the traditional kimono. Various types of white tabi, such as the "Stretching tabi, ESPA," using the stretching cotton material, and the industry's first nano water repellent processed "Nano water repellent tabi" are being manufactured. Other products such as the blue tabi for the Japanese traditional tatami craftsman and the tabi with thick material for martial arts are becoming a big hit.
