In 1951, 2 stores start their activity in the field of shoes in Khayyam St of Tehran, the capital of Iran. In the same year a company called "STANDARD TRADING COMPANY" is registered in this place that using a machine starts to manufacture "GALOSH" which can be considered as an introduction of Machinery Shoes Making in the Middle East area. This colony continues its activities until 1960. During these years it presents its products by the name of MELLI SHOES.

In the 1960's until beginning of 1970's different companies start their activities in the related industries to shoes and leather and distributing these products and create the MELLI INDUSTERIAL GROUP. In a short period of time, this group becomes the largest Machinery Shoes Maker in the Middle East and its products not only covers Iran but also throughout the world. During the 1980's, because of war against Iraq and economical sanctions, MELLI INDUSTERIAL GROUP faces with very serious problems and almost has stopped its development. But now, using modern management tools and trying to vivificate enabling, MELLI INDUSTERIAL GROUP relying on a new vision and selecting achievement to International Markets competitional advantages has selected UNCENTERALIZED MANUFACTURING Method.
