Application
Turbogenerating sets and steam-turbine plants are designed to produce cheap energy and serve as a power mechanism for ancillary equipment (compressors, pumps, motors etc. ) due to utilization of abundant potential of industrial boilers steam, which is lost during its throttling to required parameters.
Principle of operation
Turbogenerating set includes steam turbine and generator based on common base-plate and joint by mean of a gear coupling. Generator may be as asynchronous as synchronous type. Steam turbine is designed on basis of pressure stage with repeated steam supply.
