This is a hand thrown terracotta pottery made in West Bengal India, using the rich clay from river Ganga collected from the downstream river bed silt. Washed forwards through northern India, this is exceptional clay for terracotta, which on firing gives a rich ethenic look.

Our terracotta pottery is very popular in Eastern India with primitive designs, created by the caring hands of potters.

The production process though mainly hand thrown and hand designed, but also involves press machine, slip casting and jiggering depending on the size, shape and function of the ware.

All our products are high fired at 1050 degree centrigrade, which makes them robust and long lasting.
