At his age of 24 our chairman had started Tiny & Small Match factories with an average production of 2500 Bundles per month. With his existing Natural talent and the skillful survey of the indigenous market, Our Chairman has laid the foundation stone of our parental concern M / s. Bilal MATCH WORKS which is situated at the heart of our city during the year 1993 to meet out our increasing demands. Then, once in two years we have constructed eight factories in and around sivakasi area.
Under the leadership of our beloved chairman we are climbing to the peak of the Everest, within a short period with an average production of 6000 bundles per day from 2500 bundles per month (each bundles contains 600 match boxes) in our eight units. We are very much proud to say that, now-a-days we are one of the leading manufacturers of safety matches in India. Under the development programme, we have mordernise our five factories, out of the eight factories.
In 1992, BILAL MATCH WORKS was founded exclusively for the production of good quality Safety Matches. By its quality consciousness and hard work, the manufacturing unit has reached a tremendous growth. Now it owns 8 Safety Matches units of which 7 are fully mechanized. Other then this, it is provided with its own printing and packing industries for the manufacturing of outer, inner boxes and the packing material all under one roof. It has also owned a unit of potassium chlorate, the key ingredient among the chemicals used for matches.
Having this indigenous well-built infrastructure, BILAL MATCH WORKS is supplying 90 million match boxes per month. It is having an immense capacity to supply 12 to 15 containers per month. One of the hallmark of the concerns is it is the primary supplier of matches to the prestigious ITC Ltd (Indian Tobacco Company) because of Quality and quantity achievements.
