HOM.CO is one the consortium known as SULTAN GROUP. HOM.CO which is a 100% e.o.u established at Kanpur in 2003 and is engaged in the manufacture of finish leather, shoe and shoe upper both Fancy & Industrials from finished leather and Saddle manufacture unit and Leather Goods Unit.

HOM.CO is a partnership concern set up by Mr. Masroor Alam who has about 45 years practical experience in all spheres of Leather Industry. The partners of the said firm are members of Alam Family.

The administrative Office is situated at 621 C, Defence Colony, Jajmau, Kanpur.

The day to day affairs of the firm are looked after by Mr. Shah Alam under the guidance of his father Masroor Alam. Mr. Shah Alam is working in the Unit since inception and is assisted by a team of technical persons, a Financial Consultant and other supporting staff. He is designated as CEO

As our group has its own leather tanning unit we have own supply of quality leather and are able to produce it at a reasonable price. The tannery is a long established business and has a good reputation internationallt.

The shoe and upper unit has been in operation for nearly thirty years and we export to UK and other part of the EU.Among our customers we are proud to supply firms such as Mark and Spencers, Next and Burton Group.

The Saddle unit is been in operation for nearly five years and we export to USA & CANADA and EU.

The Leather Goods unit is been in operation for nearly six Years and exporting Gents and Ladies Wallets, Bags and Belts to USA & Canada


BACKGROUND OF GROUP:

SULTAN GROUP as it is known in the International Market celebrated its Golden Jubilee in 1989. Initially the activities of the Group were confined to the trading of Raw-hides and manufacturer of Sole Leather. The products were marketed in India and a limited quantity was exported. Late Haji Manzoor Alam, s/o Late Haji Mohd Sultan, who is the architect of this Group, gradually switched on to manufacture of chrome Leather of superior quality and entered into Export business in big way.

The following unit now form the Sultan Group and are functioning successfully under the able guidance of Masroor Alam, who has about 45 years practical experience in all spheres of Leather Industry.
